Beside wide range of conventional trays GTC also offers GT-OPTIM™ trays. 

GT-OPTIM^TM is a state-of-the-art high performance tray that has been commercially proven to achieve efficiency and capacity improvements over conventional trays, providing a faster return on investment. 

GT-OPTIM^TM cross-flow trays are customized to Clients' needs to achieve the highest efficiency in refinery, petrochemical and chemical applications. A combination of patented and proprietary devices make up each tray design, specific to each application.

GTC Technology's structured packing is designed to help Clients achieve higher capacity, higher efficiency and lower pressure drop. When selecting structured packing, we advise our Clients to consider several parameters that influence the performance of the equipment including crimp height, crimp inclination angle, element height, surface treatment, fouling tendency, system properties and service.

GTC's corrugated sheet structured packing, the industry standard Clients have come to expect, can be modified through the packing geometry, surface treatment and manipulation of variables in order to increase efficiency and capacity.

DROPPING LIQUID BAFFLES

Dropping liquid baffle or mist extractor corresponds to regular mass-transfer packing and serves to extract liquid presented in gases.

Mist extractors are manufactured in the form of modular packages in the shape of various standard sizes rectangular parallelepipeds. The package's essential is corrugated slotted panels made of stainless steel. During assembling inside a vessel packing is conglomerated of packages with required dimensions of bed thickness and vessel diameter.

The mist extractor's potency and universality make it very suitable for use in such vessels as:

• separators;
• extraction columns;
• other mass transfer vessels.

Head's operating efficiency are provided by the following:

• slots are made in a special way;
• sheet's ruffles are made at an angle against slots;
• corrugated sheets are arranged in a package in a certain order.
